Stebbins Cold canyon
November 18, 2017
Today, we finally hiked at Stebbins Cold Canyon. For those of you who didn't know, this was our third attempt to go on the hike! The first weekend we planned the hike, there was a fire that closed the park. The second time was rained out, but luckily this weekend was bright and sunny. The recent rains had brought clear skies and fresh flora. We went on a loop that, for the first half, was all uphill. Those who went are all troopers! When we reached the top, we had a nice view of the mountains and water. We checked out the varying plant species from the burnt areas of the trail to the untouched areas. The way down was a bit tricky and slippery, but we all made it back alive. Thank you for those who came out! We hope you all had fun!

We hope you enjoyed sightseeing the local flora and fauna. We wanted to give a shoutout to one of our SEEDlings, Jesse Kireyev, for taking some awesome photos. If you couldn't make it out to this event, never fear! We should be doing similar events in the future!
